Under the Guidance of Prime Minister, Haryana Playing a Key Role in Realising the Vision of Viksit Bharat by 2047: CM Nayab Singh Saini
Nangal Chaudhary Region to Emerge as Haryana’s New Economic Capital: CM
Chandigarh, August 23-Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, while interacting with industrialists and investors after the inauguration ceremony of rail connectivity to the Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub in the Nangal Chaudhary area on Sunday, said that today, it was not merely a freight train that had been flagged off, but the new economic momentum of Haryana had received the green signal.
Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Narnaul MLA Sh. Om Parkash Yadav and Mahendragarh MLA Sh. Kanwar Singh Yadav were present on the occasion.
The Chief Minister said that Haryana would no longer remain merely a producer of goods, but would emerge as a major hub for efficiently connecting its products with both global and domestic markets. Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi for this far-reaching project, he said that under the Prime Minister’s continuous guidance and monitoring, this Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub would prove to be a historic milestone in the overall development of the state. He said that former Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal had laid a strong foundation for this ambitious project. Now, the project would serve as a cornerstone in fulfilling the Prime Minister’s national resolve of building a Viksit Bharat by 2047.
The Chief Minister said that the state government’s new development model was progressing rapidly on the ground. Through this model, local products from Haryana would now establish strong and direct access to major global markets, and the entire region would, in the coming years, establish itself as a major economic capital.
He said that, from an overall perspective, the entire project is being developed in two phases over a vast area of 886 acres. At present, work on the first phase covering 408 acres has been completed.
The Chief Minister said that the modern logistics hub has been equipped with highly organised and time-efficient systems for freight movement, storage, loading and unloading of goods, and their prompt dispatch. This would not only save industries considerable time and money but would also significantly enhance industrial efficiency.
He called upon leading entrepreneurs from the country and the state to participate actively in the invited tenders under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) framework and become active partners in Haryana’s unprecedented journey of progress. He said that this modern hub would open up countless new avenues of prosperity for local youth, traders and entrepreneurs in the days to come.
